This makes adjusting your chain slack extremely easy and takes all the measurements out. Whether you're a "3 fingers behind the slider" type of guy or a bust out the tape measure guy you will appreciate this tool. Simply measure 2 inches back from your slider, put this tool on top of the swingarm with the chain in the top slot and tighten down your adjusters until it's tight. This will put you at exactly 2 3/4 inches of slack as the owners manual recommends. I personally made a light indention on my swingarm so I know exactly where to put the slack tool every time but you could use a sticker to mark the location. This is as simple as it comes to getting perfect chain slack without needing a tape measure.
